David Broder
Respected columnist David Broder was rated "Washington's most highly regarded columnist" by Congress and editorial-page editors and received the Pulitzer prize for commentary in 1973. He has been called "the high priest of political journalism." Among his books is "Democracy Derailed," an analysis of initiative campaigns.
Pat Buchanan
Politico-turned-commentator, Pat Buchanan is founding father of three long-running TV talk shows: The McLaughlin Group, Capital Gang and Crossfire. An advisor to three presidents, Buchanan was also a Republican presidential candidate in two elections. Books include "A Republic Not an Empire" and "Death of the West."
Ellen Goodman
Boston Globe columnist and author Ellen Goodman is a Pulitzer prize winner for commentary; her column runs twice per week. She writes about politics as it impacts everyday lives.
Molly Ivins
Molly Ivins writes about politics with a Texas twist; she has been covering George W. Bush since before his time as governor. She is author of two best-selling books, "Molly Ivins Can't Say That Can She?" and "Nothin' But Good Times Ahead."
William Raspberry
Pulitzer prize winning commentator William Raspberry writes about social and political issues. In 1994, he received the National Association of Black Journalists Lifetime Achievement Award. His column runs two times per week, and he teaches journalism at Duke University.
George Will
Newsweek columnist George Will is also an analyst for ABC News. He won the Pulitzer prize for commentary in 1977. He is the former Washington editor of the National Review, "a leading conservative journal of ideas and political commentary."
